Oct 7 2013 - 8:25am

Halle Berry welcomed a baby boy this weekend [1], and we have to admit . . . we're just a tiny bit sad that we won't be seeing her out and about rocking perfectly spot-on maternity style anymore. She spent the summer showing off great casual looks, date-night outfits, and a few red carpet dresses that were perfect for her shape. Click through to see our favorites.

How did the mom-to-be put her own spin on a the summery maxi? With accessories like this jaunty fedora.

In Beverly Hills this Summer, it was all about staying cool — including rocking blouses with shoulder cutouts.

A devoted maxi fan, Halle stepped out in another patterned floor-sweeper, this time with bold stripes.

If there's ever a more comfortable time to rock boyfriend jeans than while pregnant, we'd like to hear about it. Halle perfected a low-key date night look with denim and a black tee.

The mom-to-be layered a sheer tank over a tighter fitting one not for extra coverage, but to add an interesting detail to her look.

Shredded, webby detailing on this gossamer-thin maxi lent Halle's simple combo a sexy feeling.

For a slightly more formal evening out with her man, Halle played on the dark side of the color spectrum, topping off a printed long skirt with a cowl-necked top.

A styling tip straight from Halle to keep in mind next time you're maternity shopping? Draped dresses are a quick and easy way to look chic without putting all the attention on your bump.

A love affair with maxi dresses meant the star stocked up! Similar to the earlier style we spotted, this one features a bib top and tighter zigzags.

We love how often Halle showed off her bump proudly. There's nothing like a fitted gray tank to say, "I'm pregnant and gorgeous!"

This Summer, Halle rocked one of our favorite staples — the breezy white dress!

The mom-to-be chose simple gray and black for a Comic-Con appearance.

Promoting The Call, Halle looked red carpet fabulous in a perfectly fitting purple gown.

Halle Berry [2] ran errands with Nahla wearing a peacock-print tank dress with tan T-strap sandals. Aviator sunglasses kept things in the cool territory. To get Halle's look, pair a bright dress with neutral sandals and sporty shades.

A little gas station run didn't stop Halle from looking ultrafashionable in an ombré tank and high-low skirt. Beaded bracelets added much-needed shine.

On a night out in West Hollywood, Halle Berry [3] stuck to all black, but then punched things up with a black-and-white printed jacket. Do the same with your statement pieces.

Halle put her adorable baby bump on display in a formfitting green t-shirt dress, then finished with gold flip-flops. If you, too, want to show off your figure, reach for a similar body-con silhouette.

At the 2013 Champs-Élysées Film Festival in Paris, Halle Berry [4] was insanely fashionable in a little black sheer dress and ankle-strap sandals. We love the asymmetrical hemline and subtle embellishments.

During a romantic stroll with beau Olivier Martinez in Paris, Halle layered up in a black draped top, an asymmetrical striped skirt, and a gray cardigan. Her monochromatic tone was subtle yet stylish.

On a sunny day in LA, Halle stood out in a bold blue printed maxi dress, an oversize black bag, and beaded bracelets for an earthy finish.

Halle's draped black minidress showed off her growing bump. We love that she finished with a pair of off-kilter black sandals. Follow this style formula with just two pieces: an LBD and cool black flats.

Halle picked up Nahla from school sporting white draped shorts — a great alternative to denim cutoffs — with a gray knit tank, and she finished it off with eclectic add-ons, including coin sandals.

Halle stuck to black once again in Hollywood. Do the same in your city by dressing yourself in all black.

While on another school run, Halle matched a knit sweater with a denim skirt, then topped things off with a cool fedora.

Halle hasn't worn much denim during her pregnancy so far, but here the actress matched a colorful tunic with slouchy boyfriend-style jeans, then added blue metallic flip-flops and aviator sunglasses.

Halle covered up while grabbing lunch with a friend. The main attraction to her look here was her newsboy cap.

Halle's travel style included slim black jeans, black pumps, a draped black coat, and a black leather tote. It's safe to say Halle likes black!
