Maybe guys were the culprit? esbesb 6 years a few years ago, the washer and dryer in my building were on the fritz. i took EVERYTHING to the laundry mat after work one day-every pair of jeans, every tshirt, all sheets and towels, every pair of underwear, every blouse-i took EVERYTHING..after drying and folding every article of clothing and linens i stopped for a beer at the corner bar. ONE BEER. came out to my car and someone had broken the back window of my car and taken my freshly clean and still warm laundry. i went to work the next day in a black cotton skirt i hadn't worn in 5 years and a tie-dyed tshirt--the kicker is that I'm an attorney! thank god for renters insurance! 03harris 6 years Unfortunately I'm with loudserenity. While doing laundry at school someone opened the dryer and stole about 5 pairs of my VS thongs.... It was very creepy to think of someone in my walking around wearing my underwear....ew CanadianAlissa 6 years i went to a party at a friend of a friends house and someone stole my blue lacy panties out of my bag.... a friend who is a well known clothes theif stole a pair of my Silver jeans... :( sad day loudserenity 6 years it's sick, but when i would wash clothes at school i realize my cute black lace boyshorts (i have quite a few pairs...i love them-no VPL) go missing... gross, right? someone owes me at least 30 bucks. equestriennechic 6 years Ugh, I can basically count on anything I lend out to friends never getting returned. That's why I only lend out things that I don't like! Ha! Talldiva45 6 years My favorite hooded leather jacket (talk about a hard to find item). My sister wore it to school without asking and left it. Needless to say someone snatched it up! I was heartbroken :( I have never been able to find another one. soapbox 6 years My then best friend slept over my house spontaneously and I gave her my favorite cheetah print pj pants a bra and a t-shirt. She was about 9 sizes bigger than me at the time, so god knows why she would want to keep my clothes. I didn't really care though, our friendship was on the rocks and I couldn't be bothered to remind her to return them. I did get the shirt back, but that was only because another friend (who bought me the shirt for my bday) snatched it out of her closet when she wasn't looking. I didn't tell her to the get the shirt back btw, she just took it upon herself lol. NadiaPotter 6 years no one borrowed this things from me. We think it was a girl who came to my house a couple of days, and I found missing a bebe blouse, the top of my only swimming suit and a perfect new bra, my lucky seven elephants bracelet and some earrings. I really miss the bebe top, and well.. imagine my surprise when I had this pool party but didn't find my top of the swimsuit anywhere :( dacs 6 years Someone stole my precious black velvet blazer. Me and my sister used to live about 80miles away from each other so she asked to borrow my blazer for a week or two. We didn't see each other often so she asked someone we "trusted" to drop it off when he visits. When he came about a month after I let my sister borrowed it I asked him where it was. He said he didn't know anything about it. Let's just say his girlfriend looks really nice in my blazer. =P fashionrox 6 years I could go on and on and on. But I had this one friend Danielle that walked off with about half of my closet by the time our friendship was over. When I would walk out of my room she would stuff her bag with clothes and then when I saw her wearing say 'oh i didn't think you would mind' which I probably wouldn't have if she would have asked. The few time she did return stuff she would return it dirty, stained, and even ripped. SusanTeufel 6 years hottpink, that's horrible! I know what you mean. I had someone steal my original wedding ring (Which was sterling silver, because we didn't have money at the time) and I was devastated for it, even if it wasn't expensive. darc5204 6 years Someone stole my jeans in high school and wore them the next day. Not very subtle. They weren't terribly nice jeans, so I figure she needed them more than I did. leslievanhouten 6 years Just wanted to say I love that Ellen Von Unwerth photo AllyEm 6 years someone stole a pair of victoria's secret PINK pants out of my gym locker freshman year. how weird is that? ckeller825 6 years yeppo! Jeans and a velour hoodie. Good things they were junky to me (I barely ever wore them). smiley13tree 6 years Aww. All these stories are so disappointing. I mean, friends are ment to be trusted! I'm lucky enough never to have encountered this. amybdk 6 years At college somebody stole my very first cashmere sweater given to my by my then-boyfriend. Desert 6 years My bag was stolen while I was out shoe-shopping. It wasn't expensive but it had the word 'bookish' printed in bold on the side which is pretty much me to a T. Plus I bought the bag overseas so it wasn't like I could just go replace it. weffie 6 years i was friends with a pair of sisters who didn't have jobs so they just helped themselves to everything i owned. i stopped hanging out with them cos i got sick of losing everything, but for a few years whenever i ran into them they were wearing my stuff... i was embarrassed for them, but they really just seemed to think they were entitled to it. hottpink 6 years Long story short...a girl that I thought was my friend stole my wedding band and engagement ring from right behind my back. :( It was devastating. Good news, they were both insured but it's still not the same as the ring you got married with and engaged :( briggs313 6 years no but someone broke into my apt on monday night and stole all my jewelry. that was sad.
