Henry Holland is not a man who's afraid of color, and for his Spring 2014 show, he took it past the clothes and onto the catwalk itself, which was covered in abstract purple clouds. The clothing itself owed a lot to '50s Americana; there were chic brocade cocktail frocks, shirtdresses, capri pants, and checked A-line skirts, but many of these were given a twist with splashes of religious imagery. Orange, pink, and dark turquoise set off the colored runway, and accessories included chunky chains, baseball caps, and metallic strappy sandals.
