I own very few shoes. La-Femme-Très-Chic 7 years not that much but i am really working on my shoe game..i have more jeans than shoes lol... skigurl 7 years i feel like i have tons - more than i can wear and get use out of actually...but to count, it can't be more than 20 pairs of heels/flats, 4 pairs of sneakers/casual shoes, and 10 pairs of flip flops i guess KatieDearest 7 years Oh, and weird- when I was really young and my mom would take me to a department store, I would bee-line it for the shoe department and try on all of the high heels until she was done shopping.haha I just remembered that! KatieDearest 7 years I have probably about 20, but have very specific taste. I guess that's just the designer in me coming out. I analyze the color pallete, pattern, hardware, material, heel and toe shape, heel height, and how they all work together! My picky taste saves me money though!! haha, when I find a pair that just mesh, my heart melts and I MUST buy them no matter what the cost!! SDTransplant 7 years I put myself in the 50-75 range even though I've never actually counted how many pairs I have. However, considering I tend to buy shoes from DSW's clearance racks every time I go there and that in the last year, I've bought over 10 pairs of shoes from there alone, I may even be closer to the 100+ range if I include the shoes I've left behind in Cali. I love shoes! :) shini 7 years I thought 16~20 pairs that I own was a lot....but 60??? wow. fashionista119 7 years I think I have about 30 pairs. I used to have more, but I did a majoe shoe-purge when we moved two years ago (I think I got rid of about 20 pairs). Lately, I've been thinking about reorganizing my closet, and part of that involves purging them again. I think I can get rid of at least 10 pairs. tamyvinec 7 years Between 40 and 50. But they are 80% designer shoes like Marc Jacobs, Louboutin, Chloe, Jimmy Choo. They just ruin me. I try to have all kind of shoes and lot of different colors. For good quality shoes and not designer I love Jonak in France, or Nine West and Minnetonka. And I use all my shoes. I take care of them like babies! tamyvinec 7 years Between 40 and 50. CuteCapri115 7 years I'm working on 100!! inertia 7 years I think I have 10 pairs in rotation right now, and a few more that are too worn out to wear again and should just be thrown out. It's more than I've ever had and I thought it was a lot until I saw this poll. My feet are very narrow and it's difficult to find shoes which aren't extremely painful. So I hate shopping for shoes and when I find a pair that doesn't hurt me, I wear it until it's dead. I looooove buying clothes but won't go near the shoe department unless I need something specific. CaffeePants 7 years I work at a shoe store part time! Enough said. They may not all be the best quality but I don't wear shoes long before I fall in love with another pair so spending a fortune doesn't seem like a good idea. One of the girls at work has over 100 pairs of sandals alone. fashion4ward 7 years About 60; mostly flats and heels. I only buy quality shoes, but still have over 100 pairs Maybe I've been collecting longer EkaterinaBallerina 7 years I also have multiples of shoes in different colors. If the shoe is really versatile or comfortable and a good deal, I'll buy it in several colors (I do the same with clothes...). Also, if I find a casual shoe that I love and wear all the time, I'll buy a duplicate of it for when the first pair gets completely worn out. I did it recently with a pair of ballet flats I got at Urban Outfitters. It sounsd crazy but in the end, its totally worth it. EkaterinaBallerina 7 years I chose 50-75 but to be honest, I have no idea. I have soooo many shoes and it kinda makes me feel guilty because I usually cycle throught the same ones. I did finally get around to organizing them a few months back though. They're in containers that I got at Target, labeled and stacked in my closet. I keep the designer shoes in their original boxes. I have a lot but I'm also a bargain shopper. I've gotten Miu Miu wedges marked 80% off and Lanvin flats marked 70% off (in an amazing plum shade too!) and Marc by Marc Jacobs heels marked 80% off. And as I write this I'm reminding myself that I'm hitting up DSW this Friday for some more shoes. Can't help it, its an addiction.
