It depends... I've just started traveling and I'm getting good at it! But I usually pack the day before so I can get some rest the night before. :)

Well if I'm going on vacation, I'll get outfit ideas in my head, but don't do actual packing until the day of. When I go to my dad's for the weekend, I usually don't pack till the hour before he picks me up :S

Procrastination is my nature! (But I do make a list in advance because I know I will procrastinate on the actual doing!)

I plan everything right down to the accessories and underwear and have it packed days before I am scheduled to leave. I make some seriously anal lists that I check off. And right before I have to walk out the door to get my ride to the airport, I always freak out thinking I must have forgotten something -- those checks can't all be right -- and rip through the suitcases looking for said item, which is nearly always at the bottom of the bag. Thus it is, I always end up getting chastised by my ride for waiting until the last minute to pack. This happens without fail every time. Dang it.

I have to plan out outfits and write down all my other things ( blow dryer, face wash, wash cloth, etc), otherwise i will forget it. and trust me, you don't want to be with me when i realized that i forgot my curling iron and i'm 3000 miles away from home, and nothing is open. (yeah, that happend one xmas . . .i wasn't happy).

I loathe packing...I am just so bad at anticipating what I will want to wear in the future. The only exception to this is beach vacations, when my bikini and flip flops are the only completely necessary items.

That picture looks like the photoshoot Fred Astaire and Audrey Hepburn do in Paris in the movie "Funny Face."

Seriously? Packing is not a big deal so it doesn't take long. I don't understand people who pack loads and loads and loads and wind up not needing half of it. I went to London for 2 weeks and packed only in an airline-approved carry on suitcase, and never felt like I needed anything else. People are too materialistic... you can go for 2 weeks without 10 pairs of shoes.

It depends on how long the trip is, where I'm going, and how I'm getting there, but typically, I pack the night before. I don't make lists, but I do plan my clothes for each day, and roll them up in little bundles all together, so I don't have to paw through different parts of the suitcase for socks, underwears, shirts, etc.And aujah--my mom packed for my dad for years, until the big suitcase that they shared got co-opted by my little sister, and my parents started taking their own separate smaller bags. So it happens, although I don't know too many women who would have their spouses pack for them.

Depends on where I'm going. Sometimes I plans weeks in advance and plan outfits with events. Then I have to account for the likelihood that I will change my mind, so 2 outfits per event. Sometimes I'm going home so I pack jeans, sweatpants, and tops. Anyway Catherine Deneuve is still hot.
