I live in the middle of nowhere, so I've gotten used to paying too much for shipping... :(
$5-$12 depending on how much I want the items/how much and what I am ordering etc.. otherwise FREE. I usually try to get things when I get a free offer or wait until I do generally.
I don't really care that much.
OMG I love getting emails telling me they're offering free shipping! Then I just realize it's just free shipping...and it'd be the same as getting it at a store. lol
I'll usually pay whatever it takes for an item I want.
I suppose it depends on the item but i'll usually agree to paying whatever's necessary, as i don't usually order stuff online unless it's really important
I hate paying shipping. By the time you add the tax and shipping the Q is does the item become worth it? Might as well go in the store.
I won't pay any more than $8 for clothing like dresses, skirts, etc, but I might pay a little more for jackets. I just don't understand how all the shoe retailers (Endless, Zappos, and Piperlime) offer free shipping (and Endless and Zappos are overnight) but none of the clothing retailers do. I love Endless!!
I LOVE free shipping. Zappos is the best-free shipping & free returns. Because I live in Alaska some places think they need to charge double the shipping but we get US Postal Service, Fed Ex, UPS, etc...up here, it's not like I'm out in rural Alaska. So, I usually buy from places that have REASONABLE shipping costs, and tend to shop from sites that have FREE Shipping! I'll gladly reward them with my customer loyalty.
Since so many places don't have separate Canadian stores, I'm used to paying much more than $12 for shipping then getting charged duty on top of that. It's kind of steep sometimes, but much cheaper than driving over the border :)
I try to buy my stuff from the bigger merchants (Shopbop, Gap,etc) because they afford free shipping on orders if they can. But sometimes, I really like an item that a smaller merchant only has on their own site and I pay the shipping as needed.
Free shipping is nice. But if they don't have it I am will to pay up to $9.
I agree with the intl shipping, if I really like someting, I'll pay up to $30, if not then $15, at most.
Depends on how much I'm buying and what I'm buying.
Yeah I refuse to pay, unless it's a small company and they are only charging me a few dollars or it's a sale and I'm still saving more than I'm spending. I might have to change my attitude though if I move permanently to Europe.
OK, I guess it is different for me... since I have to pay for intl shipping all the time when I shop online. It depends on the cost of total merchandise, and as long as it isn't ridiculously high, I would pay. Otherwise, nothing more than $15. Unless I am hauling big time, it goes as high as $30. :(
