There hasnt been a day that i have been happy with how my skin has looked. I have gone threw the teasing and the rejection from boys. Im almost 20 and things still have not changed i have tried every product on the market and none of them have helped and now I have no money to spear for this problem anymore. biarose 6 years It completely depends on how much junk food I eat! la_clique 8 years Ah, good luck with that MissV, that must be hard. My sister took Accutane years ago, and it really helped her, so maybe this will work for you, I'm sure they keep improving these treatments. MissVecchio 8 years I used proactiv for a year, and it worked okay at first, and then it stopped having a lot of effect, and when i stopped using it, my pimples came back to what they normally were before. So basically... it's useless and i don't recommend it! I've been fighting agaisnt acne ever since i was 13-14 (I'm 20 now)... and I'm actually taking Roacutane (sp?) now... which is like the "extreme" treatment... the one where u can't get pregnant cuz it will damage the fetus and that can also cause depression and other severe stuff. but seriously... i couldn't cope with it anymore... i tried everything... and i never got rid of them... so this was like a last resource, and i've only started a month ago but it's an 8 month treatment! If this doesn't work than i don't know what else! Adriana42 8 years when i stress out a lot, especially around the exam times.... margaretha 8 years glad to hear adult acne is more widespread than i previously thought... the combo of minocycline, yasmin and topical antibiotics works pretty well for me. but it's still a pain in the a** to deal with breakouts at my age. wondering if there'll be at least a few years of great skin between pimples and wrinkles lol! pinkangelmonkey 8 years i get maybe one pimple every three or four months... SaRaH-22 8 years I have been using Proactive for about a year now and its still going strong...I know what you mean though a lot of times when i was younger i would find something that would work and then by the time the bottle of whatever was gone it really wasnt working...but Proactive does! emy209 8 years I have had acne since grade four and it still won't leave me alone every day i get tons of new pimples wynter 8 years I get them once a month...grr! _____________ GEAUX SAINTS! t0xxic 8 years I get mine around that time of month, its not really even a breakout just one, but when Im pregnant wooo is tht a different story azucar_maddy 8 years My breakouts are mild (just around a certain time in the month) and Proactive stopped working for me after a year. Didn't know if it was just me. azucar_maddy 8 years I've never noticed the impediment before. I'll definitely pay closer attention now, haha! BlondeSugar 8 years yea SPM i noticed that too. and that she sounds like she has a speech impetiment. notice next time how she says acne. SweetPeasMom 8 years Did anyone see the Proactiv commercials with Jessica Simpson. She's got her wedding ring on in it. I'm sure it was filmed back when, but I'm surprised she hasn't tried to have it removed... la_clique 8 years It works for a while, but be careful, it will bleach your clothes! I spilled some on jeans, and it left a big white patch. It might depend on how bad your skin is to how long it actually works, mine wasn't bad. It has helped my younger cousins immensely! JK-Boogie 8 years wow...might give it a try...i only get blemishes around lady week. tabloidprincess 8 years yes it works. JK-Boogie 8 years They have started advertising Proactive in the UK now...I saw Jessica's ad on tv...does it really work? azucar_maddy 8 years for the Sugars that have used Proactive -- How long did it work for you? PiscesJNJ 8 years It's funny because when I was a teen I had PERFECTLY CLEAR skin all the time without using any kind of special treatments. Ever since I hit the age of 20, I have been dealing with one or two pimples on a daily basis. =( Proactive works, I'm just too lazy to keep up with all the steps all the time. I work so many hours a day... Kate-Needs-Help 8 years I get PMS pimples..STILL! It sucks. http://kateneedshelp.blogspot.com/ peepshow 8 years I went off birth control earlier this year and my skin would tell you it's back to being 16. Except at 16 it wasn't this bad. I'm a horrible mess, and I cry sometimes. Good thing I worked at a make up counter so I know how to cover them up without looking like tranny. lms 8 years I very rarely have acne. However, when I was 7 mths pregnant my forehead broke out until I gave birth. It went away afterwards though. Tox...my husband's entire family has had eczema for ever. My daughter got it mildly---she doesn't itch, but has really dry skin. I just bought her Eucerin this week by doctors recomendation. ephemeral 8 years i'm a bit cursed.. as soon as i need to go somewhere like the beach (where i need to show some flesh), i'll cop a sore looking red pimple on my chest or shoulder which just kills it. It's onmly happened recently, usually i'm pretty good with pimples. Grew out of it a bit once i left school.
