PinkSparkleGrl 8 years I Shampoo & Condition about twice a week, Condition every day and use clarifying products once a week. In the winter I add a leave in conditioner at night once a week as well. Darn frizz!!! :) For some reason I have to condition in between shampoos or it gets too oily - I do not know if that makes sense. I only comb my hair once a week - and pick it everyday to keep my curls full. steelangel513 8 years I wash my hair every other day. I try to go the longest I can without my hair looking greasy, and that's usually about it... every other day. If anyone is looking for an awesome hair powder though, Bumble and Bumble makes a nice one. We sell it at the salon I work in, and it's good for those days in between washing your hair. It comes in different colors so you can match it to your hair, so you don't get the dreaded baby powder dusty look. I dunno, it's my personal favorite. Another thing I do is brush my hair every day with a soft boar bristle brush. It distributes the natural oils throughout my hair and keeps the ends soft, instead of keeping them concentrated on my scalp. audreystar 8 years i have very dry hair with highlights and i only wash my hair twice a week. maybe that is why my dry hair looks healthy :? sofi i recommend frederic fekkai hair products. Mainly-Obsessed 8 years twice a month. before you say ewwwwwwwww....i'm black MandiMark1 8 years About every 5-7 days. I have loooong curly hair, and once I straighten it, I try to keep it in as LONG as possible. If I'm in a pinch, then I'll spray perfume on my hairbrush and run it through my hair, and I make sure to do an extra hard workout when I know I'll be washing my hair that night! la_clique 8 years Almost every day, very fine and oily. But I use baby powder on the days I don't wash it. Works well for me, but I'm blonde. BeachBarbie 8 years Everyday. :) Myssa 8 years Once a week. I know that sounds gross but my hair never gets oily. If I am working out a lot during the week than I will wash it 2-3 days or if I went out to a night club the night before and it stinks. Otherwise My average is about 4-6 days. My hair has never been healthier looking and it grows so fast! ~Melissa cgmaetc 8 years Why the exclamation point after 'once a week', sweetie? Remember, FabSugar, some types of hair don't need to be washed but every 7-14 days. Their scalps cleverly produce natural oils that add shine but don't dull the hair. And their hair holds a style like it's nobody's business! Once a week may be long for some, but for almost 13% of the population, it's the norm. -the ceeg My-Opinion 8 years Now that there are so many good products to choose from to keep my hair healthy, I wash it everyday. It gets oily too fast, but I don't want to buy shampoo that will dry it all up!! Can't seem to win!! dreamsugar 8 years Biweekly! 3Sweeties 8 years I wash on days that I work, but on off days I usually don't. My hair is long and wavy, fine but with a lot of volume, so it shows oil easily. I can get away with skipping one day, but that it all. SaraSmile 8 years I condition every day because my hair is pretty dry, but I shampoo less frequently (basically for the same reason). The problem is I love love love to shower (strange as it sounds). sofi 8 years my hair is so dark that the baby powder doesn't quite get in there (quickly) and I feel like I may have a white/ grey sheen. Any suggestions for dark hair powders- I know they are out there but haven't looked into it. carbizkate 8 years I do every other day too. Sometimes I'll do it every day, but between coloring it and heat styling damage, every other day is better. I haven't had long hair in years, and I'd forgotten how much harder it is to take care of! Of course I love my long hair, but it's very easy for the ends to get very dry if I'm not careful. I also am curious about dry shampoos and if there is one brand that stands apart from the rest! I have done the baby powder thing before too and that doesn't work too bad. SaRaH-22 8 years i just put a little pile in my hand and kinda swoosh it around the roots like you do with volumizer! martini-queenie 8 years Sarah, what do you use to apply the baby powder? Just your fingers or a makeup brush or something else? SaRaH-22 8 years i do it every other day and my hair thanks me for it! but if i over sleep or something on that 2nd day i just throw some baby powder in the roots and it soaks up all the oilyness off it and it looks like i just washed it..i know it sounds weird but it really works! Just make sure to rub it all the way it! LizaToad 8 years usually every day or every other day... but on the weekends i can go 2-3 days... HAHA... then only the BF has to smell me!... and his nose doesn't work very well! sofi 8 years Every other day HAS to work for me because I don't have the time (with two little ones to chase around all day). I have very thick, med. length hair that can get so unruly if I don't dry and style (which would take too long each day and I am lazy). My hair gets oily easily but I haven't looked into the dry shampoo thing. Anybody swear by a certain one???? the-makeup-blogette 8 years everyday boredatwork 8 years I have the oily problem too, so every day during the week but I tend to skip sundays. i know every other day is supposed to be good, but mine just gets really gross. Martha-Lohan 8 years I used to wash my hair every other day, but ever since I moved into my new home I have had to wash it every day. I don't have hard water and I have no clue what else could be causing my hair to behave badly. Maybe it misses my old apartment?
