Neutral colors give you the best bang for your buck since they go with almost anything! You can mix and match neutrals with other colors and patterns or pair neutrals with more neutrals.
To style a neutral outfit, I start with a two-toned piece that incorporates neutral shades, such as this colorblocked peplum top ($59). Style it with dark-hued cropped skinny jeans ($199), and you have a great, sophisticated outfit that can easily be worn from day to night. To finish it off, add these Lucite heels from Sigerson Morrison ($425).
For cute and comfortable, I love these sandals from Joie ($125). They're simple, but the spikes give them a bit of an edge. I pair them with cargo skinny jeans ($242), add some fun with a polka-dot top ($59), and layer on a denim jacket ($78) to finish the look. A denim jacket is the shortcut for Spring and complements neutrals perfectly.
A neutral handbag works great with color. This one from Loeffler Randal ($595) is great for the office or can easily be incorporated into a date outfit that looks cute without appearing like you tried too hard. Style it with a bright and flirty skirt ($168) from Joie with a solid t-shirt ($58), and, to polish it off, add a tweed blazer. Finish this off with my favorite Sigerson Morrison heels from the first look, which work with pants or a skirt. I told you neutrals go with everything!
