No, leggings are most certainly not pants — they're not meant to be worn with tops tucked into them or with shirts that don't cover your rear. Still, that shouldn't stop you from slipping them on and styling them up the right way. That means adding an oversize sweater with a longer hemline, topping them off with a mid-length coat, or using them to layer up a short dress.
