How to Wear Mint Green

Wear One Mint Green Top 3 Ways

Fashion is totally having a pastel moment thanks to Spring runways at Louis Vuitton, Vera Wang, and Tory Burch. So, we headed over to Intermix's newest location in Brentwood, CA, and styled out one mint green blouse for three different occasions. Whether you want to mix it with rich textures, go colorblocked with a bold bright, or edge it up for a night out, we've got something for everyone in today's installment of Ways to Wear. On Allison McNamara: A.L.C. top, A.L.C. shorts.

Hi, it's Allison McNamara today on Ways to Wear, I'm going to show you how to style one mint green top with everything from patterns to brights. Sea foam green was a dominant color on the spring runways of Rodarte, Vera Wang and Tory Burch. And Elle Fanning, Lily Collins and Nicole Richie have already tried out this fresh hue. So today, I'm here in Intermix in Brentwood, and we've already created three stylish outfits using this sheer mint green top by ALC. For our first outfit we went for a crisp take on bohemian. We tucked our mint green sheer top into a brown and cream skirt by Nosoni [sp?]. It's really great to pair your pastels with rich texture to add intrigue. This skirt has a laid back feel that we love and it really tones down the feminine blouse. Also, the scalloped shirt on bottom is really unique and feminine. We made this outfit perfect for lunch or shopping with friends by adding in some snakeskin flats. And then we added on a crocodile clutch. We finished off the outfit with gold jewelery. Pastels also look lovely paired with Bright. Here we took our airy sea-foam top and coupled it with some bright orange shorts. This color combo of mint green and orange is really fresh and totally unexpected for warmer months. Make this look casual and daytime appropriate. We added some navy flats on bottom, which also pays and ode to the color blocking trend which is still going strong this season. To finish out the outfit. We layered some gold necklaces and bracelets, and then added in a jolt of color with a neon bracelet. You can also dress up your pastels for a night out. For our last outfit we selected some bold black and white color block jeans. We like how the softness of the top contrasts with the edgy pants. They're also great because they're black on the front, white on the back, so it's like you're wearing black jeans and white jeans at the same time. If you can't tell already, we're loving all things snakeskin right now, so we added in some snakeskin peep toe pumps on bottom. Then to complete the outfit, a stack of sparkly [xx] a signet cocktail rind and a fuscia lid[sp?] polish off this party perfect ensemble. Mint green is such a versatile color, and can be worn with bright shades, playful prints and edgy seperates, take a queue from todays show and go out and get your hands on a mint green top right now Thanks for watching fast trigger tv, I'm alison akamira[sp?] and I'll see you next time
