I Want This Wardrobe: Confessions of a Shopaholic, Rebecca Bloomwood

Rebecca Bloomwood's plaid ensemble might be one of her tamer choices of the bunch, but it's still oozing with quirky fun. Her Byron Lars plaid dress makes a loud statement on its own, but the stylista took it up a notch by accessorizing with a wide cinched belt, thigh-high socks, and platform pumps by Steve Madden Luxe. Personally, I would nix the socks and just wear the dress with flat boots. Who would have ever thought that plaid could look so polished?

I only like the dress. The rest is vulgar. Like some posters, I would pair the dress with leggings and flat, knee-high boots.

I like everything, but I would wear flat knee high boots to balance out the... slutty.

I have the forever 21 version and I absolutely adore it! but you have to wear it with either really dark tights or basically pants because it is shortttt. I wear it with latex leggings and booties...

The red plaid trend seems to be peaking. I'd be more interested in it if instead of being lumberjack red, it were something more unexpected like a dark orange plaid or green or blue.

I'm with sourcherry--I love the look but probably wouldn't have the confidence to actually walk out the door in it. I wore my plaid shirtdress with leggings.

I could never pull off shoes like that! I'd look ridiculous, haha!

I actually love the whole look, but I'd never have the courage to wear the socks!

The shirtdress is TOO cute. I'd probably wear it more as a tunic, though, since I'm such a sissy about dresses. The thigh highs though...would've preferred leggings, which is saying a lot since I don't do the whole leggings thing.

LOVE THAT. I agree about the thigh-highs and platforms. Reminds me of Clueless.

I love the dress! I'd take away the socks though, and maybe wear black heels instead.

The dress is okay, but gosh, the outfits in that movie were just bizarre. Not what I imagined!
