While Fall collections are often more textural than Spring's runways (all the better for cozying up and staying in when the sun sets early and temperatures drop), Jill Stuart [1] left us wanting to reach out and touch even more than usual. The show started with outerwear and two strong pieces at that: fur and boiled wool that both looked extremely warm while happily chic. She played with leather and suede, too; there were pencil skirts, but also more unique shapes (when was the last time you saw suede overalls or a leather empire-waist dress?).
The party girl will also have a reason to shop Jill Stuart come next Fall. Metallic spots and dots peppered tops, dresses, and even tights. Love polka dots? Fat black ones covered a sheer long-sleeved top that'll surely look amazing with skinny jeans or tucked into your favorite flirty skirt.
