A Twist Here, a Button There, and Kate Middleton Turned 2 Old Pieces Into a New Outfit
Despite prepping for Winter holidays and daydreaming about snow, when cold weather finally does arrive, we're always a bit surprised. It's those unexpectedly frigid days that have us digging into the depths of our closet, much like we can (almost) imagine Kate Middleton doing before visiting the Nelson Trust Women's Centre. For her trip to Gloucester, England, Kate made sure to bundle up in an old favorite, a Mulberry coat she happened to wear last February. But she wasn't done with the recycling quite yet. Kate paired the baby-blue piece with a familiar tweed skirt, which she wore to her Huffington Post guest-editing gig last January.
Of course, Kate did manage to switch things up a bit, keeping her coat unbuttoned — rare! — and wearing it like a long blazer. She also wore a black top instead of a white one. Scroll through to see her look in full and how two simple switches made this royal's old clothes look new again.
