Kenneth Cole 'Boxed In' Pump: Love It or Hate It?

Kenneth Cole 'Boxed In' Pump: Love It or Hate It?

I have come to love booties this season and I obviously love the color red but this Kenneth Cole New York 'Boxed In' Pump, $285, is not quite right to me. I love Kenneth Cole leather goods, and the company's socially responsible voice, but I just don't think I like these. Too much red. What about you - love or hate?

Can someone tell me what they would wear these lace-up booties (which are supposed to be in this season) with other than a mini and tights? Because that's the only thing I ever see them paired with. Is there really just one possibility for these, or is my imagination just too limited?

Love them! School Mistressy, Dominatrixy and also School Girly (with Senior School Uniform). Also reminiscent of 1940's early 1950's Ladies "town & Country" 'walking' shoes when high heels were 'de rigueur' for the well bred British woman. As a result they are part of the English Lady look and still 'in' as day shoes in the UK for late teens/early twenties women from higher socio-economic backgrounds. These are shoes for self assured women not shrinking violets. Mike

MBM I like it if it had waxed laces (think mens dress shoes)...otherwise, too victorian/granny

I think Kenneth Cole's shoes really fell off the wagon. Up to 2 yrs ago, I bought so many pairs of shoes from KCole from dressy strappy heels to flip flops to work pumps.. But now his collections, shoe and clothes, have sucked. Is there a (sucky) new designer on board? Has he lost his touch? It makes me sad, I liked his stuff.

not my type of shoes.

I kinda like these booties. They give a little classic touch to them, country-wise. I just find they have too much red. If it came in black, I would SO purchase. & I'm loving the velvet red laces! =D

I like them. I like to have my feet covered, and laced in. Makes me feel more secure. They remind of 40's tap dance shoes too.

I'm on the fence with these...I have a pair very similar but black, and I got them at Payless for $14!! They look very...European/French/paperboy.
