Kerry Washington Finishes the Django Press Tour in All-Out Glamour

Jan 11 2013 - 7:01am

Kerry Washington is no stranger to the red carpet, and she's been out in full force recently promoting her latest project, Django Unchained, around the globe. The Quentin Tarantino-directed film also stars Jamie Foxx [1] and Leonardo DiCaprio [2] (which is awesome), but we can all be in agreement that Kerry's high-fashion ensembles at each of the movie's premieres have taken center stage. The gorgeous, glamorous actress has been sporting Spring '13 runway looks like it's nobody's business — so far she's already been clad in pieces from Louis Vuitton, J. Mendel, and Peter Pilotto, to name a few — and last night's final stop on the press tour proved no different. Kerry stepped out at the London premiere in a dramatic white Giles gown, befitting of a Winter wonderland princess. Her white Christian Louboutin pumps and silver statement clutch completed the look with icy polish. It's safe to say, we're honestly stunned by her impeccable red-carpet choices and more than a little excited to see what she wears at the Golden Globes. And as for the afterparty? She slipped into a mod-inspired Dolce & Gabbana LWD, keeping her white pumps for round two. Now that her Django Unchained globe-trotting is over, we're taking a closer look at every outfit from Kerry's spectacular press tour right here.

Kerry stopped by the set of 106 & Park in December 2012 in ALC's Cortney Dress [3] ($548, originally $1,095). She paired the edgy-cool piece with nude Christian Louboutin pumps and layered gold chains.

For the Django Unchained photocall in Rome, Kerry showed off a daring Peter Pilotto dress — the mixed-print, peplum, and strategic cutouts are arguably a lot in one piece, but Kerry managed to make it look chic, not sloppy. She finished the look with a pair of laser-cut Nicholas Kirkwood heels.

Kerry stepped out in a Winter white cutout Prada dress for the film's premiere in Rome, being sure to keep the look ultrafeminine with pointed-toe pumps, a sleek hairdo, and a sweep of red lipstick. She also added a slim green clutch and Ippolita cocktail ring.

Kerry brought serious glamour to the red carpet for Django Unchained's Paris premiere — she wore a stunning, watercolor-print bustier dress from Rochas's Spring '13 collection, proving once again that sometimes, all it takes is one great gown to make a statement.

Kerry went for a seriously girlie '60s-inspired look for the movie's photocall in Berlin, wearing a white and cream long-sleeved checkerboard print dress (and dainty bow headband) from Louis Vuitton's Spring 2013 ready-to-wear collection. We can't even digest how cute this look is — while it's certainly a risky one, we think Kerry pulled it off flawlessly. She finished the look with Christian Louboutin's Pigalle Plato pumps and a VC Signature Ring Clutch [4] ($250).

Kerry pulled out all the stops for the film's Berlin premiere in a floaty, feminine floral-print ensemble by J.Mendel. Never one to over accessorize a look, she kept things minimal with a simple box clutch and a pretty fuchsia lip color.

We're completely smitten with Kerry's London premiere look — she is a Winter wonderland personified in this icy Giles gown. While the train of the dress is printed and seriously dramatic, we love that you can still see her white Christian Louboutin pumps in plain view. To finish, she carried a silver box clutch. Perfection.

From this angle, you can see just how gorgeous the profile of this Giles gown is. Long, sweeping, and dramatic — and those shoes? Kerry nailed it.

For the Django Unchained UK afterparty, Kerry slipped into a mod LWD by Dolce & Gabbana. The textural intrigue was only furthered by the sweet button detailing at the hips. She accented her look with stark white pumps and kept her earlier updo and berry lip color the same.
