Koolaburra by Kettle Black Ankle Fringe Boot: Love It or Hate It?

undefined

First there were UGGs and then there were all sorts of knock-offs. And they keep on coming. I adore fringe but not on these Koolaburra by Kettle Black Ankle Fringe Boots ($365). Since fringe is already a loud statement, it's too much with the chunkiness of the boot. I say UGGs should stay plain and simple. What do you think?

i usually like fringe boots but in this one, i don't know if i'm loving it. i think that they are just too ugg like and uggs can't really hold fringe since it's a bit overpowering

I don't think they're any worse than UGGS - the thing that everybody needs to understand about UGGS is they're not cute, at all, no matter what. but, they are the most comfy and warm shoes ever, and I gladly wear them even here in L.A. when it gets cold - don't tell me you New Yorkers or other East Coasters don't appreciate warm toes...

Oh, and the worst thing is UGGs with a bikini. WTF?!

Sorry, but I'm a UGG hater who's lived in SoCal for 11 years. The boots look ridiculous with a sundress: they're far too heavy and chunky. (Are you cold or hot? Is it winter or summer?) They look ridiculous with skinny jeans: they're far too heavy and chunky. They look ridiculous with anything because they're far too heavy and chunky. They aren't remotely flattering to any but the most toothpick-thin legs, and even on those legs they look ridiculous, because they're far too trying-too-hard. Who needs sheepskin boots in SoCal, at any time of year? Just my opinion. I think they're ugly as all hell, and I'd rather see a woman rocking a pair of hot heels than these revolting things.

All of you Ugg haters must be from someplace other than California. I love Uggs because you can wear them almost year round. The fringe is a cute hippy edge with sundresses in the summer and skinny jeans whenever it cools down enough. People look stupid to me tip toeing around in stilettos in the middle of the darn day! LOL Save that look for a date or an event. You know, and everyone else knows that you're feet are killing you. A confident woman creates her own style and is sexy through and through. I'm a hardcore clothes horse, but I also know that clothes don't make the woman, attitude does.

YUCK!I hate UGGs and the UGG style anyway, and the fringe just makes these even worse.

I'm with you on that emalove. I love that style but with UGGS, it doesn't look so good. It's like someone got a Minnetonka and inflated it with air. :)

I love Minnetonkas, but I'm not loving these. I really don't like the Uggs-style silhouette.
