Liquid Eye Liner Pens

Liquid eye liners are a quick way to create an instantly dramatic effect. You can combine them with pale shadows for a 50s inspired look, add as a finishing touch for smokey eyes, or draw on bat wings for a seductive looking cat-eye. You can't really go wrong with the look of liquid liner, and these new "pens" make using them seem effortless.

Shu Uemura Liquid Eye Liner is a favorite among industry experts. It's an eye-liner pen with a refillable cartridge and a finely pointed felt tip. The black version is exceptionally rich. Buy it here for $32.

This Lancome Artliner is a precision-point liner in an easy-to-handle, liquid pen form. It's got a uniquely shaped foam tip that is super soft yet firm enough to ensure a definitive line that won't skip. (Don't you hate it when that happens?) These liners also have very deep and long lasting color. Buy it here for $27.

To see a budget alternative,

Avon Perfect Wear Liquid Eyeliner Pen has a comfort-grip barrel designed to create a smooth line while also giving you optimum control. It dries quickly and creates an unbelievably thin and precise line. Buy it here for $4.99

Yeah, tox....they usually do one eye and then let you do the other eye so it would work out. :) Def follow J's advice and try to go during low peak time. That way they don't have to rush or anything like that. I know you work during the week so I say go right when the mall opens Saturday morning. Call ahead to the makeup counter, I know the people at the Benefit counter don't show until an hour after Macy's opens at my mall.

J - I take a qtip and wet it a bit, and then I can clean up any mistakes I make. I think some of those makeup remover pens that Fab covered earlier might work for that too.

I love the look of liquid liners, but I ALWAYS mess them up :( It usually dries way quick so it is not like I can smudge if I mess up.

If you're thinking of buying expensive liner - consider buying abasic, cheap one at the drugstrore for like 99 cents first. Practice Practice Practice, and then buy your good one @ the dept. store. You may be more likley to actually usuing the new liner bc you'll be better at it.

Try the Lancome, t0x!! Go to a counter and they will help you! If they're not super busy, they'll probably even let you play around and try to figure out how to do it with both eyes open.

I might try lancome. Im thinking that a liquid is what I need very thin and controlable that doesnt come out fast or to much

I wonder if Fab gets to try all the products? What a great job that would be! I love liners, they are a little tricky at first, but after a bit of practice it's totally worth it!

I cannot say enough good things about Lancome Artliner!! Especially blueberry. Such a pretty color. I wear it all the time. As for budget alternatives, I use L'Oreal Lineur Intense in black.
