Hey, I'm Noria, Pop Sugar style director, and I am here at the Loeffler Randall show room in New York. And today's such a treat. Creative director Jesse Randall is here walk me through some of her favorites and I'll share some of my favorites. One of the things that caught my eye right when I got here is the new sneakers. I think that everyone is super psyched to wear a sneaker these days. Yeah, sneakers are such a big trend right now and we have this casual collection that we call Heart LR and it's sort of my weekend look. So this is like a plank sandal with a little platform, some espadrille and it's a little sneaker and we did it in a bunch of colors and a bunch of really cool prints. Seriously you know, it plays into our inspiration which for this collection was all about sort of beach vacations of the past and kind of like flappers on vacation. They're really, really comfortable and very affordable too. And easy to pack. Yes. In your weekend bag.so can you talk a little bit about where you found your inspiration? I mean, I just love wearing prints right now. It feels really fresh and new. And I also especially love the idea of combining prints together. So I'm looking more and more for different prints and textures that I can put into the footwear so that, you know, if you're wearing something like printed jeans, you put on the shoes and it just kind of pop. One of the things that I love about Loeffler is that you infuse like classic styles with this downtown cool. This is our blazed loafer that we've really, really well with and so we thought how are we gonna make this fresh and new and feel like something that you would go away on vacation. So we put a little cap toe and then we this PVC that has embedded lace. So speaking of mixing it up, I think one of my favorite shoes of this collection is this really cool loafer. it mixes like this classic, preppy style and it's got this like dainty ankle strap. And it's of course done in metallic gold and silver, which is Time. I would wear these with little shorts or pants, You know, you could really dress it down, but I think you could also wear it with like cute little dress. So, Jesse, one of the things like Loeffler is known for obviously is shoes, but I think one of the exciting things now is your bag so bright and so cheery. One of the things I think is notable about this line is the small bags, girls are wanting to carry less you know like we all have our big bags, but sometimes it's so freeing to be able to just go shopping, and to have like the bare essentials. One of my friends was saying, you know, I want to go out at at night but I just want to bring my phone with me. So I came up with this bag that just safely holds an I Phone, a lipstick, a couple of credit cards and it's just really cute and easy. So one of the things that I gravitated toward the minute I walked into the show room was this bag. It's called the Rider. And I'm a sucker for color. So the color block element in this bag I think is so beautiful and fun and sporty So Jessie, tell me about this bag. So this is our signature bag. It's the Rider bag and the reason why we call it the Rider is that you can actually attach it to your bike. So, if you're bike riding on the front of your bike, and it's super functional, it's got compartments for your iPad, your iPhone, all your credit cards. It has a strap that goes from short to long and so it's really, really functional. I was inspired by men's briefcases. And so we talked a little bit about the "girl on the go", who just wants a minimal bag to carry things. And then we saw the Rider, which is like your functional bag to bring everywhere, super polished. And this seems like a nice compromise between the two, it's the mini-Rider and I just think that like, A., the green snakeskin is really beautiful, but it's got everything you need in this smaller size. Yeah and it's real snakeskin, which is pretty amazing. It has a little pocket for your phone.so you can just, you know, keep your phone, your metro card in there. It goes across the shoulder and the strap can also be shortened to just be a regular shoulder size. Thank you, Jesse, for taking the time to show us the Resort 13 collection. It's such a joy to see this beautiful color, mix of prints and textures, and obviously the latest collection of bags, which I think Loeffler Randall has always been know for shoes, but I feel like that may change. Thank you so much for coming in to the show.
