Look of the Day: The Big Chill

It's about that time of year when we need to start bundling up, and thankfully, AudreyStar is happy to show us how, with today's TeamSugar Look Book Look of the Day. (To learn how to upload your own looks, click here.) The most amazing thing about this outfit, however, isn't the classic peacoat, but the totally stylin' hot-pink handbag, which Audreystar scored for just $12. (It was 75 percent off.) What a find! Here's the rest of her look.

  • Liz Claiborne Black Peacoat
  • Calvin Klein Boot Cut Jeans
  • Liz Claiborne Sweater Turtleneck
  • Bongo Black Boots
  • Liz Claiborne Hot Pink Croc Look Work Tote

Have you guys tried the petite department? They carry the whole range of sizes but you probably wouldn't have to hem the pants.

Im 5'10 and have about a 36 inseam. Im weird regular pants usually ok but I like the length of long. However on long they always make the crotch longer too. i wish they would make long length without the long crotch. In terms of skinny jeans, I always liked a skinnier fit jean before they were popular. I have big thighs and wear skinny jeans anyways. I also wear long leangth tops though because Im long in the torso. Whatever if they make my hips look better I can care less at this point in my life. I just dont like the ultra low waist that does not look good on anyone

Congrats Aud! :) :) :) So you girls got me curious and I had my husband measure my inseam. I'm a 33 too. I'm about 5'8".. and a half ;) Almost the same as Val!

well i'm 5'9 and my inseam is 33. if i don't buy pants with cuffs (to let them out) i usually can't buy pants off the rack. i've actually started buying my pants online from lands end. they custom make each pair according to your measurements and will correct (free of charge) any problems you have. you get to pick the fabric, cut, color, pockets, etc, and you give them a bunch of measurements. about $70 a pair, so very reasonable.

That sucks Jenna. I know a lot of girls who are average height 5'4" - 5'5" and they have to get their pants hemmed too. The fit model in the company I work for is 5'7" and we make all our pants to fit her. But you're right, I don't think that's the average height for a woman.

Bye Layla!

Oh, I was talking to Blonde but she answered. I am just under 5'4 and constantly have to get my pants altered. I mean....isn't 5'4 the average height of women? What's up with that? Even my work pants that I get in petite, I have to get altered.

Oh jeans in the dryer even for me is the worse. lol

tox, at least you can cut off the length...most pants don't have much hem to let out. If they don't come in long sometimes I can't wear them. And don't even get me started on skirts!
BlondeSugar BlondeSugar 9 years
No I mean now I found brands that have a longer inseam. I just never put my jeans inthe dryer and stretch them before laying them out to dry

*half my jeans are long
LaylaCams LaylaCams 9 years
Half my jeans are and half mine our short. That way I can wear the long ones with boots and the short ones with flip flops.
