Look of the Day: Winter Blues

golightlyvintage's version of the winter blues is far from gloomy. Her pretty teal dress can turn any frown upside down. Notice how she's on to the statement jewelry trend; I adore that eye-catching necklace!

Here's what she has on:

  • Dress: Vintage
  • Necklace: Unknown
  • Belt: Forever 21
  • Boots: Vintage

Congrats to golightlyvintage!

Too many internet 'stylistas' are all leg and svelte frames... just look at The Sartorialist's pics! And most of the favourite style bloggers!I think it's lovely that you can dress chic and pretty (gorge dress colour!) but remained covered up when it's -50 degrees outside. Talk about weather-appropriate. Besides, Fab never said this was for a party, califab... why would you wear minis and more showy ensembles on a day to day basis? This is exactly the kind of thing I would love to wear to work. It's classy and really suits her. I've been looking for a dress with sleeves for ages, but have had to layer polonecks underneath my sleeveless/cap sleeved faves - I guess the high street thinks the same way about dresses as califab...

So nice when you want to look cute in the winter! She'll attract the right kind of guys, not the trash.

I'm sorry but this is very LDS/ fundamentalist mormon chic. Amish perhaps. Yowzers, not gonna impress the men too much with that ensemble.
