Look From Sass & Bide Fall 2007: Love It or Hate It?

Look From Sass & Bide Fall 2007: Love It or Hate It?

I decided not to do a runway review for Sass & Bide's Fall collection because I have to be choosey and they didn't make the cut - this is a very challenging task per moi. Here is a dramatic look that gives you a preview of their show which was heavy on the tuxedo looks and the prevailing headgear trend. While I think the high waisted jeans here are clean and sassy, this gold metallic blouse is tired and the hat is cute but not wearable. So, me = undecided. You?

I like it. It's very Victorian.

Not bad... for Sass & Bide.

I've never liked metallics plus I think this top would be unflattering on the everyday woman.

Love the gold with the black. I sort of like the blouse but not sure about all those folds down the sides.

i would totally wear the toned-down streetwear version of this outfit. this is pretty hot.

I'm slightly confused too. I just checked out the Rag & Bone ready-to-wear Fall 2007 show, on style.com. The look above was not among them. Nor, did I see any big hats. :?

Love the jeans, not crazy about the top.

I'm not crazy about the hat, but I could see this outfit working on someone like Kate Hudson. Or maybe that's just because the model looks like her. Although, if Mischa Barton got her hands on this, it could look really awful.

runway is not supposed to be wearable, its more of art than anything else. i love the look but of course im not going to walk down the street wearing the mad hatter's hat flutter-the one, the only, accept no substitutions
