Hi. It's Allison McNamara and you're watching Fab Flash at New York Fashion Week. I'm backstage with Mara Hoffman where she told me the inspiration for her printed and whimsical collection. Well the inspiration is South American showman cowboys. How's this winter for you 'cause I know you are known for your, like, some reprints and your Fojo dresses. There's a lot of layering happening. We brought in a lot of knits, big chunky knits, decors and outerwear . So I think a lot of people sort of think that we are simply a resort or swimwear line but that's why it was also really important to come back to runway for this season, you know, to say, look we have been forever a full readied wear collection and fall is just a little bit more about layering for us. Mara is taking her collection back to the runway this season and she told me how she keeps her cool while prepping for show. It's definitely more work. There's definitely more thought that has to go into orchestrating a runway show because you've got girls changing and you need more looks in the presentation. I've been in a really calm place and I've been trying to just like focus, yeah, on stressing out on anything that really doesn't need to be super stressed out on but the best husband that is really my partner and he stays at home with the baby and was able to work from home which is awesome. After the show I'm able to try it a lot and be with him. And being a new mom has played a big role in her design. I think it just like changes you as a full human being. So it inspires everything and so I'm sure it comes across in the collection and everything that I do. I feel like a little bit different. Saw some amazing jewelry that you're wearing. So it's All For The Mountain, right? Tell me how you got involved with this. Carly Margolis who's the designer for All For The Mountain is one of my best friends and we've worked together on a lot of shows actually and we really kinda come from the same tribe and speak the same language and so be seen together for this show and there are two collaborative pieces within it that reference the prints and then the rest is from her amazing collection, which is But when she's not designing she likes to show off her mood. Do you have any hidden talent? I mean, you're an amazing designer, but do you have any hidden talent? I like to think I'm a good dancer Okay. What can I . I'm in LA to mix it up. I can you know. Make sure to come back here for all of our New York Fashion Week coverage. I'm Allison McNamara and I'll see you next time on Fab Flash on Fab Sugar TV.
