Downton Abbey's Michelle Dockery went for a sleek, romantic, gilded gown by French designer Alexandre Vauthier tonight. Its body-con white skirt gave way to its intricately worked, semisheer golden top, complete with high collar and strong shoulders. We can't help but think that its Baroque, almost Edwardian embellishments would be perfect for a 21st-century dinner at Downton. In short, Michelle lived up to her TV character's high sartorial standards. Not many jewels were needed to complement her already standout gown — just a gold bangle, emerald cocktail ring, and emerald earrings, in fact. She finished her look with a pair of burgundy pointy-toe pumps. What do you think of Michelle's gown?
