Michelle Obama's Campaign Dress Sends Out a Message on Its Own

When Michelle Obama campaigned for Hillary Clinton in Philadelphia, she made two important statements with her dress alone. First, "I love me some trendy details." Featuring flouncy bell sleeves and a distressed neckline, this piece was definitely one for a political leader who keeps style in mind. But the plaid print on her number was a call to order. To us, the structured lines gave off back-to-school vibes and suggested we all get down to business.

Of course, supporting Hillary is high on Michelle's agenda — presumably higher than nailing the perfect outfit. That said, we're glad to see Michelle glowing like she always does, sporting electric colors and a pair of striking silver hoops from Jennifer Fisher.
