It's not actually not that people who have muffin tops that would bother me when it comes to this. It's more the people who have good abs and feel the need to show off how "hot" they need to prove to the world they are and I think it looks better with the bottom part being a higher waist, not like the low waisted jeans that require their own specific underwear which I can easily imagine some people pairing it with.

While I think it's cool for a fashion show, I really hope this doesn't become "in" again. The 90s were awful with the short shirts and low pants that only seemed to look sexy on about 1% of the population with the rest of the wannabes walking around with the skin of their muffin tops exposed. Not to offend the curvy but if you want to look good, you need to dress for your body type and not necessarily the trend of the month. We've become a lot better at covering up our midriffs in the last few years and looking more stylish and feminine - why ruin it?

I won't be wearing a cropped top and the only shows that did them in a way I would consider are Philip Lim and another one I can't remember because it was just a hint of the waist and it actually was kind of beautiful. But if it became mainstream I could easily imagine someone turning it into being the same thing it recently was with girls wear belly shirts with low waisted jeans and trucker hats. *shudders*
