Hi, it's Allison McNamara and you're watching Fab Flash. In today's New York Week trend report we are talking about all things red leather. Leather is always a cold weather staple, and we saw it everywhere, from dresses to jumpsuit on a fall runway. But we especially love the ultra sexy, red leather look designer show for next season. It's a great update from basic black and to add richness to any look. Yigal Azrouel debuted a gorgeous head-to-toe red leather look, complete with a fur-trimmed bomber jacket and trousers. DKNY also experimented with a red leather and fur combo, pairing an embossed red skater skirt with a lux jacket, cinched at the waist with an oversized, textured bell. Alexander Wang's collection was filled with loads of leather. Instead of choosing a bright red like DKNY and Yigal Azrouel, he went for a darker, burgundy red leather get-up. Distressed suede and leather pants complimented a structured quilted jacket and he finishes off with a pair of leather gloves. Tommy Hilfiger showed in array of red leather pieces, from jackets to pants. A standout was this military inspired leather dress complete with a Peter Pan collar and double breasted buttons down the front. He also showed an amazing patent leather jacket and pencil skirt combo and even used it to add texture to the plaid jacket. And Tory Burch injected a hint of color into her collection with long and short red leather gloves, a look we can't wait to try out come fall. make sure to invest in some red leather for Fall 2012. I'm Allison McNamara and I'll see you next time on Fab Flash on Fab Sugar TV.
