It was all about the modern gypsy at Nicholas K's Spring 2012 show today as designer siblings Nicholas and Christopher Kunz sent models down the runway decked out in silken layers complete with long head scarves, nomadic leather platform sandals, and side cornrow braids. For daywear the duo showcased sheer dresses layered underneath glazed cropped ponchos, while nightwear focused on long silk gowns, gracefully flowing down the runway. With a color palette of warm, vibrant earth tones, the collection took on a functional futuristic aesthetic.
