I clicked over to Netflix last Friday night to see if Orange Is the New Black was in fact the new House of Cards. Fast forward one weekend and 13 episodes later, and it's clear that the new series — which follows Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling ) through her 15-month prison sentence — is just as addictive.
As you'd imagine, it's not exactly a glamorous wardrobe for Taylor, the actress who first caught our eye alongside Zac Efron in Nicholas Sparks's The Lucky One. As Piper, she spends the series bare-faced, gritty, and outfitted in orange and khaki jumpsuits. Needless to say, it's a far cry from Taylor's red carpet wardrobe, a collection of dresses from the likes of Calvin Klein , Peter Pilotto , and so many more. With the success of OITNB, we can expect to see lots more of Taylor — so stay tuned. And since today is Taylor's 29th birthday, we can think of no better time to check out her transformation as Piper, plus take a look at her offscreen style. Keep clicking and join us in wishing Miss Schilling a very happy birthday!
