Oscars Red Carpet: Evan Rachel Wood

Evan Rachel Wood contrasted her fiery red coif with a soft champagne Elie Saab gown at the Oscars. The color might be neutral, but the intricate origami bodice is far from plain. She is so statuesque! For accessories, the actress chose a pair of decadent chandelier earrings. Are you feeling her simple yet stunning ensemble?

Its a pretty dress, but I think it would've looked better in a different color.

The dress is very very pretty. But both hair and make-up are disasters. And the pose as well...try not to look so stuck up next time...

I think she looks good. The color would normally make me say - def. too pale for such a fair skinned girl but it somehow works and she looks comfortable. The pose needs to go - get more natural girl.

She is a beautiful girl, but the color of the dress doesn't help her.

She should stop posing so hard with her face...

her pose seems a little forced, but anyways, the dress is beautiful. i love that she embraces her fair skin - that dress is so close to her natural coloring. thank you for not tanning yourself orange!

Totally perfect. I love everything about her ensemble, hair, dress, makeup, manicure, everything.

i loved this dress, but not on her skin. you can't even see the details of the dress cause it blends in so much.

In a color, any color, I would have LOVED this. Even a hit of color in the jewelry with a cocktail ring or something would have helped.

The dress is beautiful! The makeup's harsh? It looks fine to me, the lot of you make it seem as if she was wearing clown makeup. To each their own.

The dress is bland, and so is what she did with it (hair, jewelry, etc.). It doesn't look terrible on her, but it's just okay.

I love that dress. And her posture is great, though the little head turn in the close up makes her look like she's got a bit of man-neck going on...but she looks really goot.

I dont think she does the dress any justice .

wish she'd worn this an eggplant or a similarly deep color; i love a dark contrast on her pale skin.

Fabric should not match your skintone. Ever. The gown's beautiful, but unless you squint you can't tell.
