Hi, it's Allison McNamara and welcome back to Fab Flash Met Ball edition. Last night proved that the Peplum is one of the hottest dress trends right now. Keep watching to see who wore this "of the moment" silhouette. Peplum dresses were everywhere on the Spring 2012 runways, so it was no surprise that celebrities opted for this flattering silhouette for the Met Gala. Solange Knowles caught our eye in a bright yellow custom Rachel Roy Peplum gown that fit her perfectly. She went for a modern tribal feel, another big trend of the season via gold cuffs and stacked rings by Lady Grey. And then gave her whole look some sparkle with an Ede Parker bust. Also in this vibrant January Jones selected a futuristic Versace gown with leather insets on the structured bustier. This dress has a mini peplum, which is a different take on a trend. She polished off her outfit with a gold diamond and turquoise vintage Cartier necklace from 1955. Emma Roberts also went for a dose of gold color, selecting a tangerine Escada peplum gown, complete with a sweetheart-style neckline and a skinny black fell at her waist. On the more daring side, Sophia Vergara in Marchesa and Elisabeth Banks and Mary Crutranzu went for dramatic over sized peplums. Sofia sparkled in her silver beaded version, while Elizabeth took a chance in this mixed print number. complete with the high neckline and thigh high slit. Eva Mendez also went for a larger peplum choosing a tangerine colored Prada dress with [xx] on the bottom. Other ladies who opted for this feminine silhouette include Jessica Stam, Linda Evangelista and Amy Poehler. Do you think you'll try out the peplum trend?
