Little more than a week after the British Fashion Council announced that Peter Pilotto won this year's BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund (Pilotto and his codesigner Christopher De Vos will take home £200,000 (or $334,580 at current exchange) to help grow their business, and they'll get a year of mentoring), he got something else to celebrate: the official launch of the brand's much-anticipated Target collaboration. The collection launched about a month ago in Target stores, online, and at Net-a-Porter.com. And if you've been thinking about getting a piece from the capsule, you're in luck — the entire collection is now 30 percent off.
"By working with Target, we're able to broaden our reach and bring our design aesthetic to an entirely new audience," said Pilotto, who has lots of celebrity fans, in a statement. De Vos added, "This is a pivotal moment for our brand. Our collection for Target embodies the elegance and spirit of our own line but makes it accessible to everyone."
The collection includes 70 pieces ranging in price from $10 to $56 (originally $15 to $80). As far as we're concerned, that's quite a bargain for the pattern-perfect lineup that features skater shoes, totes, beach towels, bikinis, and the statement-printed dresses that have made the brand a celebrity favorite.
