The Quest for the Perfect Panties

Ah yes, the perfect panties, such an important thing! You spend 18 hours a day in these things and you want them to be comfortable. I was a big fan of Cosabella for many years and I still think they are great, but my latest picks are Hanky Pankies

Hanky Pankies are one size fits all, really soft and super stretchy so you hardly feel like you are wearing anything at all. They wash fine as well, I even dry mine! They are currently on sale for $11.90 each at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Save even more if you buy three. Click here to check them out.

e.b I hope you wear a different pair everyday LOL :)

These are the best. I wear them everyday and FAB is right - you can not tell they are on, the lace doesn't itch at all and I have dried them in the dryer, they didn't shrink. The one downer is that if you are wearing pants that are thin enough to show the fabric underneath, the lace ripples will show through. Plus they make for fun girlie gifts. They come in so many colors and one size fits all, so you can't go wrong. Put them on a present as a "present topper" (they usually come rolled up so it's not obvious that they are panties) and your girls will love you once they figure out what they are! Also, make sure to get LOW RISE they are much better than the normal ones.

I am an underwear freak I have two drawers filled, I may have a problem. But one size fits all underwear? NO not me I have to have the right size or they just don’t fit. By the way JCPenneys brand DELICATES makes a lot of VS underwear and bras. So you may find the same stuff at JCP as VS.

One Size fits all? Are people still claiming this on clothes? I hate that, there is no such thing as one size fits all or most. Bull! With my big *ss I need my size hehehe, no way that tiny thing will fit me.

yeah, well the autism thing sort of blew that one out of the water, lol. but it's gotten much eaiser with the younger 2 recently.

yeah my younger 2 are in tennis camp this week and are on swim team together. they are such good friends it's really a joy to see.

Wow!!! My sister and I were like that and the cool part about that is being able to do some of the same sports together and actually compete against one another... we used to practice tennis, or soccer, or whatever we were into together.

not even so much a time thing as a tired thing. adults have to sleep like 4 or 5 hours to get to rem sleep (real rest) but babys fall right into rem, so they are ALWAYS rested! and the parents always tired for the first few months. plus being overwhelmed at having THIS BABY that is suddenly yours, new moms are a little, whats the right word? maybe stressed? by baby #2 you're better at the sleep thing and more willing to take the offerd help (also not a wreck everytime baby cries) but still, lack of sleep takes it's toll. this is kind of why i'm a fan of having kids close together. either you're tired or your not, either you're changing diapers or your not. why get out of the sippy cup stage just so you can start all over again with the next kid? our 3 were born in just under 3 years.

Well, and good news for you, I have also had friends that popped out kids and looked like nothing had ever happened...I have one friend that went back to being a cheerleader like three months after she had her first!!! It's mostly about your nutrition while you are pregnant....gaining weight but not gaining TOO much weight. My nutrition professor said most pregnant women gain WAY too much weight, some of which can border on unhealthy for the baby... Plus, just like with you...adoption really is an awesome thing!! I always said if I ever were to have kids I would want to adopt a family of older children rather than have my own...

val and rkdub, if i have time to put on clothes or if there are glass surfaces or mirrors in my home, i shall find time to pick apart the yuck abs. my body obsession has bordered on unhealthy for the last year or so. it's not going anywhere. my meds aren't approved for pregnant or lactating women, so i will have to wait for science. i'm not going to be a stay-at-home mom and i shall do my best to marry someone who is willing aand able to work from home.

Aww.... I am with val. I think adoption is a really awesome thing, but at the same time, I think if I ever got pregnant I would be too worried about trying to find time to sleep to care about the way I look... Hey and remember on sex and the city, miranda loses a lot of weight to fit in her skinny jeans after she had her baby!!! Lifting kids around and carrying them everywhere can be good exercise!

awww, that sounds a little sad. i was kind of joking really. after you have a baby you are so wrapped up in that baby you don't really notice anything else. but if you have a tendency to be depressed that does happen too. there are support groups and meds and such. i had a friend that i was pregnant with (9 years ago) that never really got over the whole becoming a mom thing. she's a dentist, so she's obviously educated but just not willing to get help in this area.

triathlete eh? well, i better start on my training now before i meet Mr. Right For Me and start having kids. I was seriously considering adoption but perhaps it's the only option for me. My child in class: I'm adopted. My mom didn't want to get fat for a few months so I'm fortunate to have been the cutest child available.

then don't look down! the only woman i ever saw that looked great (awesome really) right after delivery (2 weeks) was a tri-athlete, and even her stomach had a tiny pouch. most women look like shit frankly. your body streeeeeaches out and slowly comes back to (mostly) where it was.

val, if you schedule a c-section, can they do some liposuction while they're at it. my body image is fragile because i have yet to develop a six pack. my panties are really baggy on me, so clearly i'm not concerned with looking sexual. if i look down and my abs are gross, i think i will have severe postpartum depression.
lickety-split lickety-split 10 years
haha! just wait till you're pregnant! nothing makes you feel less sexual than a pair of stark white HUGE briefs. really, really not good for self image. and they fit after the baby comes, for like 2 months!

val, honey, if that was the worst thing about pregnancy for you, i have a feeling that every other woman who has ever been pregnant highly exagerrate their pregnancy experiences.

these are cute! i like fun underware, makes me feel good. worst thing about pregnancy is the HIDIOUS underware. GOD i was happy to get rid of those things.
