If Spain and Latin America were the destinations for Spring 2013, and the romance of Anna Karenina's Russia took hold for Fall 2013, then it comes as no surprise that the Ralph Lauren girl would travel (once again) for Resort 2014. This time, she's found herself in what seems to be a ballet studio overlooking Paris's Left Bank, side-leaning artist's cap included.
Set in a simple palette of black, pink, lavender, and white, every look invoked a vaguely ballerina-inspired feel, thanks to wrap tops, loose skirts, camisoles, and leggings. Some of the black heels — the ones adorned with bow-tie ankle straps — even resembled pointe shoes. The dancer aesthetic and continued wanderlust theme fit perfectly with Lauren's overall Resort goal: "Everything is light, so she could be wearing it in the Fall, she could be wearing it in the Spring."
