Repel Mosquitoes and Smell Good Too

I'm looking forward to Labor Day Weekend: One last chance to spend long summer evenings sipping white wine and dining al fresco. But if there's one thing I don't like about long summer evenings outdoors, it's sharing my food with mosquitoes. Now, you can be mosquito-free without smelling like bug repellant, thanks to these L'Occitane Lavender Mosquito Repellent Towelettes. I have not actually tried these, so I cannot say firsthand whether or not they work, but if they do, they are pure genius. And for a mere $8, it's worth a try. You can purchase them online here.

I remember the first time I discovered L'Occitane products in a hardware store in Provence. We had to drive to another town to get money from an ATM. Now the line is everywhere. This sounds like a great addition.

yes, 4cdawgs. skin so soft from avon is a great bug repellant. my hubby was in desert storm and they all received skin so soft in their packages over there. he said the bugs were terrible over there in the desert and that stuff really worked.

I think Avon came out with a similar product a couple of years ago and I believe they don't make them anymore.

I know many people who have used these and quite frankly, the only way to REALLY repel mosquitos is to use a product with a high % of deet. I know these wipes sound convenient and probably smell terrific but in the midwest there are tons of bugs and I'm telling you deet is the only thing that works.

Whenever i travel i always get tons of bites, so these sound promising, and they're by L'Occitane which i love. Though i'm not sure how effective they'd be.

I hate the mozzies so much! Aparently some people have a gene that attracts the mozzies to you, I most defiantely must have that gene!

Damned mosquitos when are they gonna become extinct.theyre the most annoying creatures, i feel happiest when i see a mosquito squashed dead on a surface. I dont know if this product contains DEET,I hope not but I'll have to check it out..those towelletes do look convinient.
