It's a small percentage of Fashion Week [1] presentations that attract industry vets, top models, celebs, and other designers. But that was the crowd that came to see Rihanna [2] debut her Fall '16 FENTY collaboration with Puma on Friday night in downtown Manhattan. I walked in to find Anna Wintour sitting comfortably front row, while Jeremy Scott sat a section over. Naomi Campbell [3] made a fashionably late entrance only moments before the lights went up on the moody, mirrored catwalk.
As for the clothes themselves, Rihanna presented a '90s-Goth take on athleisure, complete with chokers, breakaway pants, and heeled high-tops. To finish, Gigi Hadid led the finale, Rihanna took a bow in a fur coat (and no pants), and then cater waiters served champagne to everyone. Read on to take in the night, one standout moment at a time.
