Rihanna Wears Star-Shaped Pasties and Black Blazer at Fourth of July Party

Rihanna in Star-Shaped Pasties: Love It or Hate It?

Rihanna is no stranger to wearing daring outfits, but I think her Fourth of July party look takes the cake. In fact, she makes Lady Gaga's choice of nipple coverage seem demure. Check out the singer wearing star-shaped pasties on her nipples with a sexy black blazer. Can you imagine the reactions she elicited from male party guests? What do you think — do you love that Rihanna went all out for the Fourth or are you turned off by her boldness?

Even though I would personally not wear those, if she wanted to wear them then it is up to her. But she has to realize that she will be getting attention in a negative way, especially from males. I am guessing she is trying to start controvery over something else besides her problems with Chris Brown.

She looks like a whore! What in the world is going on. Nix that, she looks like a HO, HO, Stanky Ho! Sad. Are we going backwards people?

After a year of working in a domestic violence shelter, I really cannot stand questions like "How will men respect us if we wear these clothes?" Respect is a basic right. This is the same line of "blame the victim" arguments that I just hate. A better question would be "How do we expect men to respect us if we just barrel words like "Slut" and "Hoochie" at women who wear skimpy clothes?

Okay, Auntie says put your clothes on now! How do we except our men to respect us when we look like hoochies. I am all for fashion statements, but this one says HOE!!!

I think she was going for the burlesque, edgy look, and I actually don't mind it. Had she gone sans-pasties, or sans blazer, I'd be howling. But this, eh, I don't think it's horrible.

no taste whatsoever. Shouldn't fashion be about being daring yet still staying tasteful?

Hmm, I can see this working for a trend-setting and risky club but not the streets during the day.I really am not shocked by Nip-oleons, and I find it a nice nod to burlesque. Hilariously, the first thing I thought to myself when I saw this picture was, "Wow! I love that lip-colour!".My only critique? I really dislike the colour of the pasties. Maybe a really funky bright pink to match her lips would have been better!
