Selena Gomez seems to have successfully made the transition from beloved Disney Channel star to breakout big-screen actress, taking on more adult roles and music, like Spring Breakers and her recent hit "Come & Get It" (full disclosure: we can't stop listening!). With her newfound stature comes lots of sleek promotional and red carpet looks from big-name designers like Dolce & Gabbana, Peter Pilotto, and Oscar de la Renta — and we couldn't love Selena's grown-up style more if we tried. We've rounded up some of her coolest looks (so far!), so click through to see them all now.
At the 2013 Radio Disney Music Awards in LA, Selena Gomez revealed her fashion know-how when she juxtaposed a tough black leather tee with a feminine, printed, tulip-shaped Blumarine miniskirt from the Fall '13 collection. With such an eye-catching pairing up top, Selena knew to keep her footwear minimalistic, albeit chic.
Selena took her high-end style to the streets in Peter Pilotto's Lara silk peplum top ($1,540) and matching Eli trousers ($1,233), which she paired with black Rupert Sanderson Troy pumps. The look was incredibly polished and sleek, but packed a lot of sex appeal, too (the guy in the background knows what we're talking about).
Selena gave a simple black Burberry Gabardine trench coat ($1,395) a huge shot of S&M-chic with a pair of knee-high Brian Atwood Electra leather boots ($1,750). Selena's shoe game is definitely taking a sultrier turn these days.
Selena knocked it out of the park recently in this sporty, fresher-than-ever ensemble from 3.1 Phillip Lim — she paired the brand's slouchy floral pants with a cheeky "Get It Girl" tank and Bionda Castana colorblocked sandals, then loaded up on gold House of Lavande Vintage jewelry.
Selena showed up to the MTV Movie Awards red carpet looking absolutely stunning in a gold long-sleeved fringe minidress from Julien Macdonald's Fall 2013 collection. She kept her focus on the flirty frock with a pair of Jimmy Choo platforms, and gave the look an edgy spin with a slick braided ponytail.
Selena turned it out for the Logo NewNowNext Awards in April, pairing a printed Peter Pilotto Carolina peplum top ($1,361) with Plein Sud leather skinnies and Giuseppe Zanotti pumps. We love how she kept her hair stick-straight, which plays nicely with the voluminous blouse.
Selena showed her sophisticated side for an April British Fashion Council event — we love her girlie-meets-sexy Marios Schwab pearl-embellished sheath, which she smartly paired with black heels and a Lauren Merkin Lucca clutch ($63).
For the Kids' Choice Awards in March, Selena went head-to-toe designer: she showed off her stems in white shorts and a light blue peplum top by Oscar de la Renta, and paired the look with Gucci's snakeskin ankle-strap Ursula heels ($685). To finish, she carried a Diane von Furstenberg clutch and kept her hair in a retro half-up 'do.
