Simply Fab: The Strapper

I hate rogue bra straps as much as the next girl — except when it's an on-purpose style statement, of course. Sometimes they're just not appropriate, and it's times like these that The Strapper ($14) comes in handy. Weave your bra strap through The Strapper and it won't fall off your shoulder, peek out of your sleeveless top, or show when it's not meant to be seen.

One package supplies you a black, beige, and white Strapper, and a portion of the proceeds got to the LI Breast Cancer Action Coalition.

Veronica, there's a website with a little video demonstration of how they work. I got one, and ... it's okay. It does hold your straps in, but it feels kind of weird. I also think it stretches out your straps -- after all, it's basically converting a regular bra into a racerback. DO make sure to loosen your bra straps before putting it on. Oh, and I can't put one on myself; my husband helps me.

I bought these two weeks ago for a halter dress and I LOVE them. They kept everything in place all night long. I'll never buy another ill-fitting racerback bra again.

I don't mind bra straps showing SOMETIMES, but some women really need to control them...these are a good invention!

I just have to say that I'm SO glad to see a product that funds this particular cause, that isn't pink and ribbon-emblazoned. It's not that I don't love pink, but I have a chronic disease, and the last thing I'd ever want is for every item in my home/wardrobe to remind me of it.
