There should always be a point to what you are wearing, and how you are expressing yourself that day. Your personality should shine through whether you are wearing a simple pendant necklace or bold cuffs. If the jewelry you've chosen overpowers the overall scheme, then it's too much and we no longer see YOU because of all the distraction. And occasionally, if there is something you could have selected that would have enhanced the mood of your ensemble but you opted out, well then next time you wear that same outfit, give that bit of drama a go.
