The Most Fashionable Frames of Award Season

When it comes to red carpet fashion, there's not much we haven't seen, from plunging necklines to Winter whites to ladies rocking pants instead of dresses. But this award season, we were surprised to see glasses popping up on the red carpet, even making their way up to the main stage on the faces of Hollywood's A-list. Everyone from Lupita Nyong'o to Rashida Jones have been breaking out their thick, colorful frames while reading the teleprompter, proving that once-bookish frames have never looked so cool.

Lupita Nyong'o

We first saw Lupita's black frames at the Golden Globes, but the star continues to take them out every time she reads the teleprompter at an award show. They even have their own Twitter handle, @lupitasglasses.
