Hi, it's Allison McNamara and you're watching Fab Flash at New York Fashion Week. As you can see, I'm backstage at Tommy Hilfiger, where the designer told me when he first fell in love with fashion. I was 18 years old when I was inspired by rock 'n' roll and music. I loved what the rock stars were wearing. So, I wanted to not only look like a rock star but I wanted to design and sell the clothes to my friends. So, I opened a small shop when I was 18 years old. Eventhough the designer has lots of influences for his inspiration. Well it's about the sporting life, it's about Greenwich meets Park Avenue. It's about military influence with 60's pop influence. It's about equestrian. It's about sporting life. He still thinks when it comes to getting dressed that you should keep things simple. Don't overdo it. Obviously Tommy Hilfiger is an amazing designer, but he told me he had a few hidden talents up his sleeve. I'm a great skier. All right. I'm a very good skier. I like to play beach volleyball. I'm pretty good at that. And I think I'm a good business man. Check out the entire Tommy Hilfiger runway show and make sure to come back here for more interviews at New York Fashion Week. I'm Allison McNamara and I'll see you next time on Fab Flash on Fab Sugar TV.
