You Just Can't Miss the Pretty Little Floral Details in the New Victoria Victoria Beckham Collection

Victoria Beckham is on a roll. After presenting a modern school-girl-inspired collection for her namesake line, Victoria Beckham, during New York Fashion Week, the designer headed to the UK for London Fashion Week. There, she presented the Fall 2016 collection for her diffusion line, Victoria Victoria Beckham, on Tuesday morning — and it's safe to say that editors who saw the collection were thrilled.

Her Victoria Victoria Beckham collection is at a lower price point, and as such, often appears more youthful, colorful, and experimental in comparison to the main line. For Fall 2016, Victoria sought to bring the "great outdoors inside" for VVB. That translated into nature-inspired embellishments, like landscape scenes or special 3D floral effects. Flowers were everywhere, on dresses, knits, and brooches. Black was used frequently, but color was everywhere too; teal, purple, and orange reccured in the collection. There was a '60s feel to the whole range, between the culottes and A-line skirts. A number of pieces were made in era-specific gingham prints, making for a delightfully varied — and delightfully nostaligic — collection.
