All one needed was a quick glance at the Viktor & Rolf Fall 2014 collection to identify how smartly the garments were organized. Softly draped dresses in solids gave way to printed separates and pieces of outerwear, all while staying in the color palette of gray and white.
It wasn't until pieces like a soft blue top with the printed silhouette of a bra top and a boxy blue jacket came down the runway that the collection escalated in excitement. The line appeared to culminate in an explosion of print and brilliant color in the form of orangey red dresses and separates. The collection then shifted away from color and turned back to black, white, and gray to introduce the final pieces, whose personality came through in embellishment and graphic design.
