Totally normal policy for book signings. When I owned my shop I hosted many authors, and if you don't have policies like this it gets insane. The worst was when people would bring *every* title an author ever wrote or bringing in books purchased elsewhere expecting to get them signed. Really bad manners.

This is normal procedure for a book signing. I see nothing wrong with it. The only reason it's being picked apart is because people want to find a reason to hate them.

The only rule I found odd about the Olsen book signing was the no photography, all the others seemed normal for a book signing. i think that writer just might not like them lol
