Ew. That's called frump, not fashion. candace87 6 years Most of them aren't bad when they're worn right. I hate when people wear leggings as pants.. they are ONLY for under dresses, although I prefer tights, they're classier. My favourites have to be bubble hems and gladiators, NOT together though. marcjacobsmaniac 6 years THE BABYDOLL DRESS! if i see one more i am going to die! oh and dont hate on menswear i lovee it! Pepper 6 years Bubble hems sldc 6 years I like all the "trends" when worn by the right person, in the right situation, in the right way. Really, all of this stuff is recycled so often, so much of it (when well made and designed) has staying power and can be incorporated into a classic wardrobe. I find that most people do not pull off the trendy or classic look all that well. I think the "trying too hard" trend needs to go away. lizlee89 6 years blegh, baggy and rolled jeans, lame, Crocs, Uggs, and gladiator sandals... pinklady8287 6 years Oh! And Crocs are just awful! Please, please, please stop wearing them! pinklady8287 6 years I happen to LOVE leggings. They are so comfy! But that's just me! :) I voted for bubble hems because I think they are very unflattering to almost anyone. Jude-C 6 years *trendy anymore, I mean. Jude-C 6 years Anyone here remember skintight bodysuits and stirrup leggings? At least those things aren't trendy. Aniya 6 years I think colored tights look really ridiculous on most people. Only very few people can pull them off. I hate UGGS, please no more of those just burn all of them, I don't even care if they are for winter they are the most hideous things to hit the fashion scene next to crocs and they have gone on for way too long. Lame: no more please, that shiny mess has got to go Hippy Headbands: ugh I only like them on Nicole Richie Bubble Hems: severely unattractive and unflattering on most Leggings: eh I think they can look good and I also think they can look bad, depending on what type, since there are like a million these days, and how it is put together. RoyalBlueMoss 6 years frenchys, I get what your saying. I know a lot of women who are not adventurous when it comes to fashion and they blow off ever trend. BUT Not all women who hate trends are that way though. Some people just like dressing in a classical way and hate wasting money on something they might now like later. I completely get what your saying though. shazzam 6 years i wasnt sure what the lame or rolled jeans were, but i most deffinatly hate gladiator shoes, they look unflattering on everyone and makes everyones legs shorter. i wouldve chosen bubble hems because they make anyone with hips look humungo, but i do admit that if you're stick thin, they do infact look cute. zboundy 6 years Uggs should be on the list. liquidskyfire 6 years Crocs, when people wear leggings like they're pants, footless leggings with flats... bleah. oxykisses 6 years ugh the hippie headbands are awful. everyone keeps wearing them esp LA ppl and its so ugly. dont these ppl see they look like a bunch of fools and might i add sheep since they just follow hollywood. hollywood isnt the place to get your trends from...they are all over the place LolaSvelt 6 years Leggings (except for latex) followed by hippie headbands and baggy jeans! bluestar 6 years I really HATE gladiator sandals and I don't really know why, but I just don't like 'em. emalove 6 years Out of this list, I really don't care for lame. And rolled, baggy jeans. Also, menswear is soooo not for me. Melo-D 6 years Cath! Yes! That is a trend that needs to disappear. I'm not a fan of leggings. They can be done right but at this point I'm just tired of seeing it. nicachica 6 years I'll admit that i fell for the gladiator trend but i'm a bit of a rocker chic and i just really loved how they toughened up outfits. :) However, i'm not a huge fan of the hippie headbands (except on Nicole Richie for some reason) and tights as pants. Lame is just plain bad. I'm sick of the Goddess/Grecian trend (unless Rami from ProRunway wants to make me a dress!). Bubble skirts just baffle the crap out of me. Very few people look good in them! I think the key to following trends is simple - If it looks good on you and fits you well, then by all means, go for it. If it does not fit you (i.e. you're short and hippy and you wear gladiators with bubble skirts) then DO NOT FOLLOW IT!!! It's better to look a bit more mainstream than messy! loudserenity 6 years all of these can be done right, but i've ALWAYS hated gladiator sandals. it's just...no. leggings don't bother me. as long as they're not worn as pants. hippie headbands are kinda cute for summer as long as you're not going overboard with the look, i think. i love anything shiny, so lame has to stay. the rest of it..whatever. cowgirlredd 6 years with the exception of *maybe* colored tights, i really can't stand any of them. Mme-Hart 6 years "I think the people who criticize these trends the most are ones that are too boring to try new ideas or just can't pull them off themselves..." Or they are people who don't want to waste money on clothes that will look (more) ridiculous next season, and perfer to invest in classic pieces that stand the test of time (black slacks, cashmere sweaters, button down shirts, pumps, etc) OR--we are fashionable people who don't think pairing a pair of €20 tights with Christian Louboutins is very fashion-forward. It makes €900 shoes look CHEAP! I like the menswear trend in the YSL manner. The hippy headbands make me think people have dirty hair. The bubble skirts can work on the right body but not on someone carrying a few extra pounds/kilos. I'm over leggings. Rolled jeans--that won't catch on where I live. Women are too tailored for the slouchy beach bum look.
