Whitney Port Sued by Adrienne Baravetto 2010-03-24 11:00:22

Whitney Port Gets Served

Good girl Whitney Port was delivered bad news today when word spread about a lawsuit filed by designer Adrienne Baravetto claiming she designed the majority of the Whitney Eve collection — originally called Eve & A — and not Port. The lawsuit also claims Baravetto had an oral agreement with Port and her father promising an $80,000 yearly salary plus an additional 25 percent stake in the company.

However, Whitney's lawyer, Michael Taitelman, tells sources, “The lawsuit that Adrienne Baravetto filed on March 19, 2010 against Whitney Eve, Inc., Whitney Port and others regarding the Whitney Eve clothing line is baseless and without merit. Whitney Port is, and always has been, the designer of Whitney Eve.” Let the drama begin . . .

No surprise here if it is true...whatever. Today it is rare to find w. their own creative ideas w.o. collaboration. Just sad that ppl. don't give credit where it is due because they are fame/$$ hungry.

yeah, did anyone for a second actually believed she actually designed those clothes?

Wearing designer's clothes and attending fashion shows doesn't make you a designer and these girls needs to understan it once and for all. Same goes for other so-called designer "celebrities".

wouldn't surprise me at all if she didn't design any of it
