Who Wore It Better? Sheer Black Maxi Dress

It's a battle of the supermodels. Bring it! First, Stephanie Seymour attended the 2008 Costume Institute Gala in this revealing Alaia sheer black maxi dress, which she chose to accessorize with long earrings. To the horror (or excitement) of photographers, Stephanie's nipple pasties showed with each flash. Next, and more recently, Naomi Campbell went to a dinner in honor of Nelson Mandela in the same sexy dress. I beg to ask the question: Is this really an appropriate dress to wear when hanging out with the president of South Africa? But back to who wore it better. Which see-through supermodel wins your vote?

If I had to pick, stephanie.

Definitely Stephanie. Naomi looks like she's wearing sexy lingerie and not a dress. Stephanie is more covered up but still really sexy.

the dress is just tacky! very ugly...that is something you can't pull off and make it look good

miss naomi looks like trash. stephanie wore it to a more appropriate event, and the updo classes it up a bit, but seriously - this dress is fug. maybe carrie bradshaw could pull it off - MAYBE, but that's it.

Naomi's gives off a bathing suit cover-up vibe. Stephanie's doesn't seem to fit well. Not a fan.

Neither. Sheer matched with granny's pants is not working for me.

i like stephanie in it better. the dress would've been better if the bottom wasn't sheer. or if it had a black layer of cloth underneath the sheer layer.

I guess being a supermodel gives Naomi a license to wear anything, as in anything!

This is not a dress. Who would wear this? This isn't classy or fashionable.

Naomi doesn't think, she just does. I think she's made that clear with the cell phone situation. LOL although i absolutely can not stand naomi, she looks better in the dress but Stef wore it to a more appropriate event.

It fits Stephanie's body better and wearing her hair up flatters the neckline and top of the dress. Stephanie makes the dress look good, on Naomi it just looks ugly (which the dress kind of is).
