I think it would clash too much. You need a complimentary color.

Gloss all the way so no matching issues although I usually wear a golden gloss with warm tones and a clear or iridescent gloss with cool clothes. i don't match but it always goes with my face and what I'm wearing

I choose clothing that complements my skin tone. So yes, I do this sometimes. It depends. I don't like true red lipsticks (makes teeth look yellow) so I wouldn't match this, but I have matched plum and mauve shades. I think the photo looks goofy though. If she'd toned it down, gone with a more muted shade or a gloss instead of matte, it might've worked. I do have a lip gloss that has a hint of orange in it, and have worn this with orangey tops.

I anti-match: I chose a pink lipstick if I wear read and vice-versa.

Perhaps...I would rather match it to my skin first, and if it went with my clothes then it went with my clothes :P

never on purpose, but sometimes it works out that way

No. Not all shades of lipstick look good on me.

It's more a question of my picking clothes that match my lipstick! I wear a fairly broad range of bronzy-brown to golden-red, with lots of nude shade, so there's potential for clothes-matching!

I pretty much to the same lip shades, no matter what I'm wearing. I like shades of pink and peach and that's about it.

I sometimes match it but never intentionally. I wear shades that look good on my skin tone.

I don't wear lipstick? The sight of it on my straw when I sip grosses me out. Orrr on my cup, EWWWW. I know they make lipstick that appearently doesn't rub off, but it has to. Right?
