It's something that I absolutely dread thinking about when wearing my heels. It would ultimately depend on the shoe, though. I have a pair of round-toe Guess heels that are my most comfy black pumps, so if God FORBID something happened to them, I probably would try to get them fixed. books-and-shoes 7 years If I really loved the shoe, I would get it fixed. It's surprisingly not expensive. I had to fix the heels on a pair of boots and it only cost me $10 at Heel Sew Quik. Though once I got the shoe shine guy in my old office building to fix a pair of heels that I adored and he totally effed them up! :rant: NYShuls718 7 years If it's a good pair of shoes you have to save them! If it's one of my $100+ pairs, it's going to the cobbler for repair. If it's a cheapo from Target or a teenybopper store, it's trashed. I would have my favorites fixed but throw out others. Lovely_1 7 years If it was one of my very expensive nice shoes, I would take it to get fixed and grab another pair out of my car (always be prepared!).
